What were your favorite activities?
“Being on safari, visiting the Maasai Bomas as well as our long talks with the Maasai women, being on the floor of the crater, and staying at Gibbs Farm.” -Tanya M.
“The walks from the camp and the late afternoon drive amongst the 50 giraffes. Plus the floor of Ngorongoro Crater was a wonderful experience.” -Fiona P.
“Seeing so many animals in their natural habitat and learning about their habitats. Learning about the local cultures and having opportunities to interact with the local people.” -Susan B.
“Talking with the Maasai women privately. Visiting the Maasai village, game walking at sunrise and sunset, and Ngorongoro Crater. Loved coming back from a hike with breakfast in the bush all set up for us.” -Diane J.
What parts of the trip made you feel challenged, empowered, or triumphant?
“Since this was my first international trip in many years I felt triumphant that I could travel to Africa on my own. It was very empowering that I did this on my own.” -Sally J.
