What made you want to be an Ambassador? And how many trips have you done?
I wanted to be an Ambassador because I love what AdventureWomen stands for. I love everything about seeing the world and traveling, and I especially love getting out of my comfort zone and trying new things. Being able to meet others who enjoy the same things as I do is a true blessing in my life.
I’ve only ever done the Utah trip, first as a guide and now as an Ambassador. I get asked all the time what my favorite part of the trip is, and I always answer “canyoneering!”
Running and hiking.
What sound do you love?
Describe your life in one word.
What’s the craziest or most out-of-character thing you’ve done?
Bungee jumping 440 feet out of a gondola in the Swiss Alps! I’m all up for adventure and trying new, scary things, but now that I’ve experience a bungee jump, I can say that it hurts my ankles when it pulls tight, and I felt so disoriented and dizzy, and didn’t know which way was up or down for a minute when I finished!
What’s something you’ve tried, that you’ll never, ever try again?
Would you rather be able to breathe underwater or have the agility of a cat?
Agility of a cat! That would be super helpful climbing mountains. 🙂
